Welcome to the lab, Melissa and Joshua!

We're happy to welcome our new master's students, Melissa Buder and Joshua Altmann! Both have a BS in Dietetics from Arizona State University, and they will be conducting research on the effects of diets on brain inflammation and lipotoxicity. We're excited to have them join our team!

NIH R01 funded!

Excited to announce that our lab has been awarded a $2M NIH R01 grant to study how the epigenetic modifier JMJD3 regulates energy metabolism in the hypothalamus. Extremely grateful to all lab members and collaborators for their contributions and support!

At the Nutrition 2024 conference in Chicago, IL, Busayo presented his research in two sessions: Nutrient-Gene Interactions/Precision Nutrition (Poster Theater Flash Session) and Experimental Animal Nutrition GEM Forum. We also enjoyed the nice weather in Chicago, a welcome escape from Arizona's heat! Great job, Busayo!
